The Minnesota Vikings will stick with Blair Walsh as their kicker for the remainder of the season, according to multiple reports.
The Vikings worked out multiple kickers today, with Randy Bullock, Travis Coons, Zach Hocher and Kai Forbath all making their way to Winter Park. According to the reports, however, it appears that the Vikings have decided that sticking with Walsh is the best option for the team moving forward.
The move will come as a surprise – and major disappointment – to many, with the embattled Walsh used as a consistent scapegoat throughout the season for the recent failures of the team.
One issue in signing a kicker could be the lack of salary cap the Vikings currently have, however that remains a question mark.
More information to come as it is made available.
