They say all you need in life is one true friend – and if you can count on one another like these two precious pooch pals than consider yourself very lucky!
Isaac is a blind Husky who was found wandering around the streets of Fontana, California without any tags or information. The poor dog was completely alone and most likely disturbed from trying to survive on the streets alone for so long.
Luckily, once Isaac met Isabella, a tiny chihuahua and terrier mix, he soon realized that he wouldn’t have to be alone for much longer. Sweet Isabella may be much different than her giant best friend, but that doesn’t matter. She now acts as her new pal’s seeing eye dog, guiding Isaac through every move he needs help with.
Both abandoned animals were taken in by the STAND Foundation of California, who agreed to make sure that the best buddies would be adopted together, according to AOL News.
“They’re the dynamic duo. They’re a bonded pair. They’re inseparable,” Fred Kaplan of the foundation told CBS. “They want to stay close together all the time.”
Veterinarians believe poor Isaac to be suffering from glaucoma, but as long as he’s got his teeny sidekick, they believe the future looks bright for this heartwarming duo.
If you want to help this precious pair, you can send contributions to the STAND Foundation, P.O. Box 5921, Sherman Oaks, CA 91413, or use info@standfoundation.org for PayPal.
