Hillary Clinton’s neighbors posted lawn signs thanking her for running for president – and she responded with sheer gratitude.
The colorful signs sprung up on a street corner street near the Clintons’ Chappaqua, NY, home. They were painted with messages including “Happy Thanksgiving, Hillary,” “We are thankful for Hillary. An American hero,” and the well-worn refrain “I’m with her.”
Clinton was so moved she tweeted a photo.
“I was greeted by this heartwarming display on the corner of my street today. Thank you to all of you who did this. Happy Thanksgiving.”
Clinton has been spotted around Westchester County a handful of times since the Nov. 7 election. Brittany Valente, 25, saw her shopping for cheese at the Chappaqua Village Market on Wednesday, and mom Margot Gerster spotted her hiking with Bill and her toy poodle just two days after her defeat.
