It’s the University of North Texas mug all over again, except this time is on an international scale.
A new tourism campaign urging people to visit Australia’s Northern Territory (NT), a desert landscape known for the iconic sandstone monolith, Ayers Rock, and Kings Canyon, was recently released and the Internet is going haywire over their ad.
The slogan in question? “CU in the NT.”
You can see why that might cause a stir among social media sites after the campaign’s launch.

According to the “CU in the NT” Facebook page, the new ads have received an “incredible response.”
“Many more people are discovering the NT since the campaign launched and with many planning their trips as we speak,” they posted on Facebook.
Well, yeah. With an ad like that, the Northern Territory is bound to get some attention.
Whether it was a simple blunder or an intentional act, the campaign is definitely doing its job.
