Dog meat farms are a bleak trend that unfortunately too many animals are a part of.

They are a dark, dreadful, and grim place without hope. Fortunately, two friendly pooches, Sophia and Kenji were rescued from the bleak life. The group that organized the rescue, Jindo Love, arranged for the dogs to be sent to the United States where Kenji found a home in Massachusetts with Lindsay Goldstein.

Everything was perfect for Kenji in her new life. She had all the love she was looking for and a warm home filled with affection. However, there was one tiny hole still in her life. Kenji had grown up side-by-side with her best buddy Sophia.

So Lindsay Goldstein took it upon herself to arrange for the two dogs to be brought back together. When the two were reunited for the first time in years they ran with all their might and sprang on each other like no other. For anybody who has ever speculated that dogs don’t remember one another or build strong bonds, we’re here to dispel that belief.
