The Dow Jones industrial average on Tuesday closed at a record high, shattering the 19,000 mark for the first time in its 120-year history.
The Standard Poor’s 500 index likewise rose by 0.2 percent, closing at a record high of 2202.94 points, according to USA Today.
Nasdaq also reached an all-time closing high of 5386.35, while Russell 2000 rose by 0.9 percent.
