Genius kid provides the best reasoning to his math problem

Always show your work. Well, that’s what they said in math class anyways, which was incredibly annoying but also aided the learning process and showed your teacher where you may have gone wrong.

This kid doesn’t play by those rules.

After correctly answering a simple currency question, the 6-year-old boy was asked how he ended up with this answer. This is part where the kid should have explained that dimes are each worth $.10, so four of them would equal $.40 – greater than Amy’s 30 pennies, which equals $.30.

Instead, the kid just drew a picture of himself thinking.

“This is why my kid is going places,” the boy’s mother wrote as a headline on Reddit. She stated in the comment section that she’s going to save the assignment so that they can both fully appreciate how much of a smart ass he was as a first grader.

And yes, he got credit for the answer.
