This amazing robot is 3D printing in steel. Thanks to Autodesk we get a chance to see how the most complex machines in the game are currently working to create the future, using the most advanced robotics technology available today. It’s humbling stuff–we are far from the sci-fi reality of Westworld or other fantasies where robots are there to do our bidding. These machines can’t even tell that a human is nearby. But we are teaching these machines to understand the world around them and bend it to our wishes–an incredible achievement.
