Here at Stylist.co.uk we take hair inspiration from all manner of sources: celebrities, bloggers, the Yao women of Huangluo.
However, these all fade in comparison with a rather unlikely hair hero who has been steadily going viral on the internet over the weekend.
Enter Tea the Afghan Hound, whose perfectly straight and shiny mane of her hair has led her to be dubbed the “prettiest dog in the world” by her adoring fans.
Tea, who lives in Sydney with her owner Luke Kavanagh, bewitched the internet when Kavanagh posted a photo of her to his Facebook page.
With thousands of users sharing the image, and fans showering her with compliments including “beautiful”, “stunning” and “outstanding”, Tea has reached heights of internet fame that most other show dogs could only dream of.
“We always thought that she was far too pretty to keep at home,” Kavanagh told The Daily Telegraph.
“Even our weekend walks draw a crowd. She pretends she doesn’t need the attention, but she definitely loves it, just like any supermodel.”
Unfortunately, five-year-old Tea has now retired from the show circuit, with Kavanagh taking to Facebook to explain, “her retirement is due to no other reason than I reached a point where showing (grooming show day) was taking me away from spending time with my family and I want to prioritise them over campaigning my dog”.
However, that doesn’t stop Tea from being the diva that she is at heart.
“Whether she’s naked or draped in the finest of silk gowns, Tea will always be my queen,” Kavanagh added.
