John Lewis got us in the Christmas spirit with an adorable dog – and now it’s Marks Spencer’s turn to ring in the festive season.
The high street retailer have roped the actual Mrs Claus (so they say!) for their Fifty Shades of Red advert, which is more heartwarming and less sexy than it sounds.
Father Christmas’ better half gets a bit of a tech boost – goodbye reindeer, hello helicopter – to help one 6-year-old boy deliver the perfect Christmas gift to his older sister.
This Independent Woman can fly all around the world delivering gifts in her chopper, and still make it home to snuggle with her bearded hubby… with plenty of time to spare.
“It wouldn’t be fun if you knew all my secrets,” Mrs Claus smiles when Father Christmas asks about holiday secrets.

Despite the Fifty Shades namecheck, no Christian Grey-style festive dungeons or kinky yule logs here…
Whether this year’s star-powered Marks Spencer advert can match John Lewis’s heart-warming Buster the Boxer short remains to be seen.
Released on Thursday morning (November 10), the ‘#BusterTheBoxer’ campaign has already racked up 8 million views on YouTube and become a viral sensation on social media.
The Christmas advertising campaign is only heating up, with Sainsbury’s own festive campaign tipped to launch in the coming days.
