Outlook, formerly Hotmail, is down for many users.

According to Down Detector, the outage seems to be limited to parts of Europe, South America, and both coasts in the United States with sporadic outages reported elsewhere.

We’ve reached out to Microsoft for further clarification of what’s causing the issues and when users might expect the site to come back online. We’ll update this post as needed.
