Police are seeking tips to help identify suspects in vandalisms and other crimes that occurred during an anti-Trump protest Thursday night that descended into what police characterized as a riot.
Detectives have begun releasing images captured during the event in hopes the public can help identify the suspects.
Portland Police Chief Mike Marshman said Saturday that investigators are reviewing “tremendous amounts of video footage,” including images captured by businesses’ security cameras, to identify suspects.
“Our intent is to arrest everybody who has committed a crime,” Marshman said.
Police are also investigating a shooting that injured a protester. Two people where arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with attempted murder. Police said they were not believed to have been participants in the protest.
