A couple weeks may stand between me and my first holiday party of the season, but I’m already planning my makeup (#beautyeditorproblems). The new Tarte Limited-Edition Tarteist Pro Eye Jewels Glitter Liner is the latest addition to my proposed holiday-makeup toolbox- Spacepaste and the Bite Beauty Gold Crème Lip Gloss are also on my short list. The company just released double-sided liquid liners that fit my new motto,”Throw some glitter on it,” to a T. The liners come in White Gold and Silver, and the shades are a little different-and actually better-than their namesake metals. White Gold looks more like a fizzy champagne versus a gilded yellow gold, and Silver is a swirly pewter hue. On each tube, one side of the liner is a glitter-flecked formula that doesn’t need a second-step adhesive to stay-on. The other is an opaque metallic liner with a high-shine foil finish.
Each end of the liner is equipped with a superthin brush for drawing precise lines along your upper and lower lash lines, or sharp AF wings along the outer corners of your eyes. (I’ve been dreaming about glittery cat eyes since I scrolled past Lady Gaga’s interpretation on Instagram last week.)
Beyond easy and accurate application, the glitter liner can be layered over the metallic liner or your favorite black liner for an especially glitzy finish. You can also tap the glitter on top of your eye shadow-may we suggest one of the many flattering reds in this new pro palette -for a sheer wash of shimmer. The liquid dries quickly so it doesn’t take eons to build layers.
But your lids and lash lines aren’t the only parts of your eye that crave a little flash. Tarte suggests glittery brows, and the look is a lot prettier than it sounds.

Both shades of the Tarte Limited-Edition Tarteist Pro Eye Jewels Glitter Liner are available for $24 each on tartecosmetics.com. We’re guessing they’ll sell out lightening fast.
