Wednesday night saw tens of thousands of protesters fill the streets in cities coast to coast, from Los Angeles to Chicago to Philadelphia to New York.
Crowds were beginning to gather again as the sun was setting in Philadelphia.
Demonstrators gathered in Baltimore as well, where there are reports of at least one arrest.
As the Thursday afternoon rush hour got underway in L.A., crowds blocked traffic on one of the city’s major thoroughfares.
Earlier on Thursday, San Francisco saw a major walk-out of high-school students from at least 10 city schools.
Crowds of young people also gathered in front of the Trump Hotel in Washington, DC.
