Despite call by lawmakers on law enforcement agencies to crack down on pyramid financial scheme popularly known as MMM, participants of the community continue to celebrate the first anniversary of the scheme.

Recall that a member of the House of Representatives, Akinlade Fijabi from Oyo State, who called for the crackdown on MMM described MMM as a ‘Rob Peter to Pay Paul Scheme’.

But the participants in Oyo state held a dinner where members shared their testimony.

The Oyo state community had earlier donated 3 million naira to hospital patients at the University of Ibadan Teaching Hospital
